Web Design

MASdesigns can help you legitimize your business image through professional, fully customized web development services.

It's no secret that companies who don't have a web site can't compete in today's marketplace. But what you may not realize is that companies who don't have the right kind of web site can't compete either.

If you have created your own web site through a free service or an HTML compiler, your code may not be standards-compliant, which means your site can be slow to load, difficult to navigate, and may not work in all browsers. Worse, your site may not be search-engine friendly, which means potential customers might have a hard time finding you on the web.

Wordpress/Joomla

MASdesigns specializes in providing easy to manage web sites that small business owners can update without having to know how to write html code. These types of sites are called Content Management Systems, and they are available from MASdesigns in two design styles: Wordpress and Joomla. Web Site Design Process:

Marketing Consulting Phase:

As an experienced marketing consultant I will interview you in order to gather information about your business, your online needs, your design preferences, and keywords and phrases that pertain to your industry. If you have a business plan, I will ask to see the marketing section of your business plan.

Hosting Set-Up

If you do not already have a web site domain and a hosting server set up, MASdesigns will work with you to choose and register a domain and set up hosting through a professional, trusted hosting provider. All fees for this service are payable directly to the hosting provider you choose and are in addition to MASdesigns fee schedule. Typically these fees are negligible. In most cases, you can expect to pay $10-15 a month for services from your hosting provider.

Site Structuring Phase:

After the initial interview, your consultant will put together a site navigation structure for your approval.

Initial Design Phase:

Once you have approved a site structure, MASdesigns will begin designing a web interface around that structure. MASdesigns offers an initial choice of three layouts designed around your existing business logo and your color scheme of choice. MASdesigns will then ask you to pick the design that most approximates your vision of the finished product.

MASdesigns web sites are W3C compliant and are designed using HTML and CSS 2.0. and Flash design services

Design Refinement Phase:

After you have chosen your favorite initial design, MASdesigns will create 2 refinements on that design. You may suggest changes, or MASdesigns will offer options. MASdesigns will then ask you to choose a final design.

Web Site Copywriting:

If you do not have web site copy already written for your pages, MASdesigns will write custom copy for you at an additional fee. Our writer has over 5 years of experience writing marketing and web site copy. With MASdesigns, you are always assured that your copy and content is professionally written, clean, and optimized to convey content effectively to customers who like to quickly scan pages as well as to customers who prefer to read in detail.

MASdesigns will offer first drafts of each page. You may edit these drafts to your satisfaction, and then MASdesigns will make changes.

Search-Engine-Friendliness Check:

Once the design and content creation has been finalized, MASdesigns will code the site in such a way as to make it search-engine friendly.

Final Check and Going Live:

MASdesigns will then ask you to do a final check of the site and sign off on it. We will then post the site live to the web. You're in business!

Web Site Deliverables

When your web site design project is finished, MASdesigns will deliver to you:

• Your web site, live online
• All graphics files created during web site development
• All text files created during web site development
• A full offline copy of the web site on CD ROM

Brochure & Print Design

MASdesigns will custom design your company's brochures, mailers, and other print designs such as marketing slicks and folders and broker the printing services on your behalf.

Each project includes three initial design options. After you have chosen the design that most closely approximates your vision for the final product, MASdesigns will make refinements and submit the final project for your approval.

If you do not already have copy written for use in your print materials, MASdesigns will write custom copy tailored to effectively showcase your business.

Upon project completion, MASdesigns will deliver to you a CD ROM containing all development files, including original Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator artwork, and TIFFs. MASdesigns will also provide you with a PDF so that you may distribute your material both electronically and in printed form.

Business Cards and Letterhead Design

MASdesigns will design your business cards and/or letterhead around your existing logo. (If you don't have a logo, check out our logo design services.)

For one project price, MASdesigns will provide you with 3-10 custom business card and/or letterhead options. From those designs, MASdesigns will ask you to select the design that most closely approximates your vision of the finished product. MASdesigns will then create another 3-5 refinements on that one design, based on your initial feedback.

Once you have selected your final design, MASdesigns will either broker your printing services for a fee, or provide you with the design files so you can purchase your own printing on card stock of your choice. MASdesigns will also provide you with an electronic copy of all Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator artwork so that you may have an electronic copy of your business cards for future use.
